Young love, ahh. It's adorable! ;-)
Amy and Caleb are planning their sweet nuptials for the end of September, and I couldn't be more excited for them. A recent Oklahoma Baptist University graduate, Amy is ready for all the next steps that the Lord is leading her toward ... and Caleb is right at top of that list!
I had trouble narrowing down the photos ... so, here are more than a few of my favorites from our fun session in the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge.
Family: this one is near and dear to my heart.
My childhood babysitter, Lesa's, crew was maybe a little bit rowdy, but fun to capture. We spent the evening at two different spots, letting the littles play while fulfilling a dream list of groupings – photos with her parents, kids and grandkids – for my second mom.

This little sweetheart and I have had a date since December, but life has a funny way of getting in the way, for both me and her sweet, sweet momma. From a black eye, to show season, to medical treatments -- shoutout to Tiffany for being on the way to kicking cancer's booty -- we finally coordinated schedules and made a little bit of magic happen in an unposed, lifestyle session.
The daughter of a dear high school friend, Jayde and I -- plus momma and grandma -- spent the morning throwing rocks, eating suckers, twirling, and playing with treasures.
Little people are fun.
Southwest Oklahoma wind, I feel you, and this sunrise engagement session with Danci and Garrett was no exception. The wind whipped through the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge, as a chipper welcome to spring, I'm sure.
Dating since before they could each drive, Danci and Garrett were a dream to photograph. No moments of unsure affection, here; just real emotion, comfortable touch, tons of laughter, and awkwardly-perfect pocket hugs. Keep scrolling, you'll see it. ;-)
I cannot wait for the Mother's Day wedding of these two high school sweethearts.
One of my husband's dearest friends, Craig and his beautiful bride Courtney tied the knot on New Year's Eve in an intimate farmhouse, front porch ceremony.
With a setting and decor straight from Pinterest, the ceremony took place in a breathtaking eighteen degrees, with the couple's immediate family and few close friends on hand.
Every part of the ceremony was meaningful and centered on the couple’s shared faith in Jesus, from handwritten vows to braiding a three-stranded cord.
I know I say it with each post, but I truly was honored to play a small part in capturing this dear couple’s beautiful day.

After a GORGEOUS bridal session and a fun, love-filled engagement shoot, to say I was excited to shoot Holly and Colton’s wedding is an understatement.
A perfect mix of elegance and fun, the couple celebrated their big day with style. The elegant golden glow from the stained-glass sanctuary windows set the scene for a memory-filled ceremony. Tears were shed as Colton watched his bride walk down the aisle toward him; laughter ensued as Holly’s grandpa, who officiated the wedding, gave Colton a final warning before allowing him to kiss the bride; and genuine love was evident between Holly and Colton as they beamed at one another throughout the ceremony.
The night was topped off with a reception featuring an amazing breakfast bar, clad with donuts, waffles, biscuits and gravy, and hash brown casserole. (Take notes y’all: best reception food ever!)
A sparkler send-off complete with laughter and best wishes rounded out the festivities.
